WTG attended an inspiring Women’s event with Isabelle Hudon, President and CEO of BDC as a speaker. It was a delight to be among amazing women and hear an inspirational speech from Isabelle. “Work on Excellence not Perfectionism” – words from her to women entrepreneurs.

WTG is proud to join the Mother’s Day celebrations. Thankful for the opportunity to bring smiles to marginalized and single mothers on this special day. WTG donated 30 gift bags to our beneficiary Interval House Of Hamilton.

This weekend is a special time to appreciate mothers and all the hard work that they do. We are thankful for all of the care, love, and dedication each mother gives, along with their endless contributions to our communities.
This Mother’s Day, we ask you to think about single mothers, women survivors of gender-based violence, marginalized women, and their children. Many of the marginalized women in our communities are facing numerous challenges to support themselves and their families. Women That Give marked International Women’s Day this year by partnering with two amazing organizations, Guelph Wellington Women In Crisis and Secret 3k.
Honor to represent WTG along with wonderful speakers at the event hosted by Guelph Wellington Women In Crisis and other partners. Proud to partner with Secret 3k organization that hosted a running event to mark the celebrations. Women That Give sponsored sweets and delicious snacks prepared by Streetside munchies for both events.

International women’s day is a global day that celebrates the social, economic, political and cultural achievements of women.
This day is also a call to action to accelerate gender equity and equality. Significant activism can be seen around the world as groups, individuals, companies and organizations come together to celebrate women’s achievements and champion women’s equality.
International women’s day is a time to reflect on progress, call for change and celebrate the courage and decisiveness of ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.
International women’s day also provides the opportunity to raise funds along with awareness to strengthen efforts for women-focused charities such as Women That Give.
Partnerships and funding with registered charities and non-profit organizations dedicated to the empowerment of women and girls means addressing inequities and supporting the important work we put towards the women.
