Toy donations to Opacc

Another day, our team joins Opacc to bring smiles to the children this holiday season. Many thanks to our kind donor, Mevlana Home Decor, for the donation of the beautiful Toys. Our team is very grateful for the support and, also for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of childhood cancer families in our communities. – WTG Team 😍💐

gift card donation

Thanks to our incredibly kind donors, Women That Give was able to purchase $50.00 gift cards that will be donated to women residing in shelter homes. For the duration of COVID-19 we will be collecting donations, monetary or in-kind, to provide women and families with the basic necessities that many are struggling to fulfill. These gift cards will directly assist them with the purchase of groceries, toiletries and medications.

Lockdowns across the world have been difficult for many, however marginalized members of the community are at an even greater disadvantage. Many women who found themselves isolated with their abusers were forced to leave their homes with little to no belongings. Our COVID-19 relief program aims to support vulnerable members of the community over the next three months as they navigate new living situations.

Please visit our COVID-19 Relief support page or send us a message directly at if you are able to make a donation.

Charities face new challenges amid COVID-19

Charities face new challenges amid COVID-19

The COVID-19 crisis has presented challenges for so many, however, the impact on charities has been critical. There has been a significant increase for support services, as many people are earning less or facing unemployment. Decreased earnings also mean less donations, resulting in a lack of funds to support those who are especially struggling during this time.

At WTG, our mission is to help marginalized women and disadvantaged members in our communities. This includes women living in shelters who have had to flee their homes due to violence. As shelters struggle to meet growing demand, many people are left unable to meet their basic needs. For the duration of COVID-19, we are asking those who are able, to consider purchasing a gift card to a grocery store, pharmacy or other shop where necessities can be found.

We are also calling for in-kind donations of the following items:
Hand soaps
Feminine hygiene products

Whether it’s a monetary or in-kind donation, every dollar and item will go to an individual or family that is desperately in need. Please visit our DONATE page to contribute or email to schedule a pick-up of items.
