This weekend is a special time to appreciate mothers and all the hard work that they do. We are thankful for all of the care, love, and dedication each mother gives, along with their endless contributions to our communities.
This Mother’s Day, we ask you to think about women survivors and their children. Many of these families are facing numerous challenges that have only been worsened during the pandemic. That is why we started the Covid-19 Relief Support program. You can make a survivor’s Mother’s Day very special by making a donation today.
Thank you Salon Fortelli and Spa for supporting our Covid Relief Support Program (CRSP) with your generous donation. Your beautiful gifts will brighten Mother’s day for women survivors at our beneficiary shelter, Interval House Hamilton.
WTG Team is so thankful and appreciative of the businesses lending a helping hand to those in need. Your business can support survivors too. Donate today: womenthatgive.ca/donate⠀
Gender-based violence (GBV) can sometimes seem like a thing of the past, however, “67% of Canadians know a woman who has experienced physical or sexual abuse,” (Canadian Women’s Foundation). The pandemic has made some GBV situations inescapable, putting women at a greater risk of serious injury or even death. Gender-based violence can also lead to significant trauma for children who witness it, while encouraging the cycle of violence. We all need to come together to prevent GBV and support survivors to help create a safer community for everyone. WTG creates programming and raises funds for survivors. Make a donation today here
Women That Give is so grateful to our newest corporate partner, Family Care Nutrition. Thank you for supporting our CRS Program through your generous donation of 300 sanitizers in support of survivors and children at our beneficiary shelter, Interval House Hamilton. We always appreciate businesses lending a helping hand to those in need. To learn more about how YOU can support our Covid Relief Support program, visit this link.
Spring is approaching and we are experiencing so much change! Change in weather, time, and even in hope for our “new reality” as vaccines roll out.
Won’t you consider creating a change in these times, too? WTG has been working hard to create partnerships and allies for women in our community. One of WTG’s current projects is the COVID Relief Support Program. This program accepts in-kind donations of sanitation materials and other important necessities so EVERYONE can be safe during these times. You too can help someone in our community today. Consider donating monetarily or in-kind through the CRS Program. Let’s love those around us!
