Essential Services Contingency Reserve – PPE supplies

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is working to ensure that Canadians have access to the information, resources and personal protective equipment (PPE) supplies they need to stay safe and healthy.

Through the Essential Services Contingency Reserve, managed by PSPC, PPE and critical supplies are provided to organizations serving Indigenous communities and non-profit organizations at no cost while supplies last. Businesses and organizations in essential service sectors can also access the contingency reserve on a cost recovery basis.

For more information on eligibility and the acquisition process, visit the Essential Services Contingency Reserve web page.

We encourage you to share this information with your network and partners.

Together, we can ensure all essential service providers have the PPE they need.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day 🌹

This weekend is a special time to appreciate mothers and all the hard work that they do. We are thankful for all of the care, love, and dedication each mother gives, along with their endless contributions to our communities.

This Mother’s Day, we ask you to think about women survivors and their children. Many of these families are facing numerous challenges that have only been worsened during the pandemic. That is why we started the Covid-19 Relief Support program. You can make a survivor’s Mother’s Day very special by making a donation today.

Support our programs

Gender-based violence (GBV) can sometimes seem like a thing of the past, however, “67% of Canadians know a woman who has experienced physical or sexual abuse,” (Canadian Women’s Foundation). The pandemic has made some GBV situations inescapable, putting women at a greater risk of serious injury or even death. Gender-based violence can also lead to significant trauma for children who witness it, while encouraging the cycle of violence. We all need to come together to prevent GBV and support survivors to help create a safer community for everyone. WTG creates programming and raises funds for survivors. Make a donation today here
