Thank you for the continued support of our generous partner African Aid International ,  WTG was able to deliver dental hygiene products (96 branded toothpastes) and hand sanitizers (60, 500ml bottles) to benefit women survivors and their children at Nisa Homes a VAW shelter for Muslim women.

Community Announcement

WTG’s community partner Npower Canada is offering youth free industry-recognized IT certification.

Program Includes
Training: Participants complete 15 weeks of daily technical and professional
skills training delivered through a work-simulated approach. Participants
earn industry credentials such as the Google IT Support Professional,
CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certifications. Staff
and corporate volunteers also deliver employability skills training in areas
like workplace communication and teamwork. Corporate partners also host
mentoring activities, site tours and job shadowing opportunities to facilitate
work-based, experiential learning.
Wraparound Supports: Human services professionals provide individual
counselling and make warm referrals to wraparound services in areas like
mental health, childcare and housing. Job placement and 5 yrs of Alumni support. This uniquely comprehensive and holistic approach helps young people secure and retain employment.

Eligibility: High School diploma (can be from a different country) Legal status in Canada with a SIN, Program is offered in these areas: Toronto/GTA, Hamilton, Waterloo Region, Kingston, London, Windsor
Cannot be enrolled in school full-time, as it would interfere with the program hours.
