Toronto Global Forum 2025 October 15 – 17
Women That Give (WTG) proudly participated in the Toronto Global Forum 2025 as a bronze partner. As a part of the Forum’s opening engagements, WTG hosted a cocktail reception in partnership with TGF, bringing together distinguished guests, senior executives, and policymakers from Canada and around the world.
WTG’s presence at this year’s Forum aligned closely with the central theme “Leading in Times of Transformation” reflects not only the challenges facing global economies but also the lived realities of women and families rebuilding their lives through change. And this year’s theme, also speaks to resilience and leadership through change.
For WTG, this transformation is deeply personal as seen in the women and families who rebuild their lives through opportunity, stability, and empowerment.
During the Forum, Fawzia Khan, CEO of WTG, delivered remarks emphasizing the power of community-driven leadership and the importance of collective responsibility in times of transition. Her words highlighted how Social innovation and Corporate partnerships can strengthen resilience among marginalized women and families.
Throughout the event, WTG engaged in insightful discussions with leaders from major financial institutions, international organizations, and global decision makers on advancing inclusive growth and sustainable impact. These exchanges reinforced WTG’s role as a bridge between the nonprofit sector and corporate leadership, advocating for practical collaboration that reaches those most affected by change.
By taking part in the Forum, WTG reaffirmed its belief that leading in times of transformation means ensuring no one is left behind and true leadership begins with empowering those ready to build their own future.
