Hope Program

Employment Readiness Program focused on helping women develop job-search skills and build confidence and transition to economic independence.

Objective of the program to provide women affected by GBV and marginalized women  primarily from racialized, newcomer/immigrant groups identify, find and maintain sustainable employment. Increase access to employment support, meaningful work opportunities and economic independence.

This program guided women towards employment success. Offering  workshops and 1-on-1 mentoring. Program delivered via interactive Zoom sessions.  Participants were also provided support with Resume clinic and STEAM skill building. Some participants found success in job placements.

Certificates were issued to participants enrolled into the program. Ongoing placement support was provided post program completion.

The program supported 30 women from newcomer and marginalized communities including survivors of GBV to rebuild confidence and gain job readiness.
