JOB DESCRIPTION

WTG is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill in the position of a Fundraising Coordinator for a community project.

 Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a fundraising plan with the project manager. 
  • Review current fundraising initiatives to identify gaps and need. 
  • Set fundraising goals, outlining targets, schedules and revenue  goals.
  • Present findings to management.  
  • Develop strategies for successful campaigns. 
  • Create tools and learning materials eg; manual for current and future staff/volunteers.
  • Research best fundraising methods such as online giving tools for nonprofits, marketing and engagement tools, and software integrations. 
  • Availability to attend meetings as required by the project manager.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Familiarity and knowledge of fundraising methodologies and tools preferred.
  • Experience in the not for profit sector is desirable.
  • Authorized to work in Canada. Position pays $20/hr.
